Albert is a third year Electrical Engineering undergraduate student at Wayne State University. Albert developed an interest in UAV mechanics after researching the technology and convening with Matthew on the topic. Since then, he has gained a great deal of knowledge and insight in the field of UAV mechanics. Albert feels that this cutting edge technology provides a great opportunity for Wayne State University as well as the city of Detroit. Recognizing the countless implementation possibilities in multiple industries, Albert feels that spreading knowledge of this progressive technology is imperative. So much so that in his free time, Albert enjoys taking his friends around the city and showing them how the different aspects of drone technology can improve Detroit.
Matthew is a third year undergraduate pre-medical student. When he is not studying for science classes, he is building and flying drones. Having worked with UAVS for the last three years, Matthew feels that the UAV market is growing at an extremely rapid rate. Along with Albert, he feels that these vehicles can be used as a tool to better society specifically in the City of Detroit. He has spent the summer capturing the City of Detroit from above, and is excited to share this new aerial perspective with the world.
Preston is a third year electrical engineering undergraduate student at Wayne State University who aspires to make a career in the aerospace industry. Preston sees the advancements made in the UAV industry as the ground work for everyday airborne passenger vehicles. When he is not studying hard, he enjoys traveling as his wallet allows, gaming, cooking, and billiards.
Ashraf is a senior Electrical and Computer Engineering undergraduate student at Wayne State University. Ashraf has been involved at and around Wayne State University since his freshman year, from serving as a Student Senator to working at the Student Center. He has a passion for entrepreneurship and the city of Detroit. After meeting Albert in class, he joined DAI to expand his knowledge on the growing field of UAVs and autonomous systems. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the city, playing soccer, and volunteering at the local soup kitchen.
Zachary is a third year industrial engineer at Wayne State University. He is proficient in systematic engineering planning, AutoCAD, and MATLAB. In his free time he enjoys skateboarding, and running. He strives for design efficiency on multirotor and autonomous vehicles.
Nirav (Nero) is a third year Computer Science major at Wayne State University. He is proficient in computer programming, problem-solving, and financial accountancy. In his spare time he enjoys reading and working out. He strives for innovation and creativity.
Anthony is in his third year Mechanical engineering undergraduate student at Wayne State University. He is proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MATLAB. He is a dedicated aerospace specialist, drone pilot and NPC physique competitor. He has a passion for bodybuilding, building multirotor aircrafts, and autonomous vehicles.
Rory is a freshmen undergraduate physics major at Wayne State University. Rory has been involved with computers, robotics, and autonomous vehicles since his freshman year of high school by doing FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition). He is passionate about discovery and creation which draws him to design, technology, and engineering. After having met Preston, he joined DAI to apply his current knowledge and to learn more about drone systems, specifically autonomous design. Rory is experienced in Solidworks, Labview, and C++ programming. In his free time Rory enjoys creating and performing music.
